This is the first time I've blogged. A wonderful friend put a bug in my ear asking if I planned to blog about my upcoming trip to Africa--another first. I am giving it a shot. I leave in 12 days with my sister, Martha, for this two-week amazing trip. There will be stories--many to share. Oh my goodness... I am so excited! We have dreamed about this for maybe 40 years honestly. I went to the thrift store and bought as much khaki clothing as I could find--didn't want to rattle the hippos and I read that navy and black attracts tsetse flies. I will start taking malaria meds soon. I bought a new camera that I tried out on a recent trip to Vail. Packing to begin very soon. Whahoo!
